Nail Art


Nail Art is an art to decorate your nails according to your dress and occasion and making your hands to look more beautiful, attractive & fashionable look. Nail art resembles the arrival of modernization in 19th century,  as earlier that nail manicuring and beautifying concept arrived in back 3000 B.C.
Lets give a look at 3000 BC:





·        Inca Civilization wore images of eagle on their finger nails.
·        Chinese used a enamel on heir fingers that once applied , after leaving for several hours, it would turn red/pink.
·        Indians used Henna plant leaves on the finger nails, which left a reddish brown color.
·        In Egypt, higher classes women used deeper shades of red coolor, while the lower class used light colors.
Now look at the 19  to 21st century :
In 19th century, in United States Manicure became popular.
In 1920, automobile paints arrival, inspired modern nail polish.
In 1925, Nail polish entered in market with only red color. At this time the art used on nail was:
Moon Manicure”. In this art, painting was done only on the middle part of the nail, tip and bottom of the nail were unpainted.
In 1940, Revson brother’s Revlon nail polish industry introduced in market different shades of color.
In 1970’s, Nail art became an important cultural signifier. As Black nail polish became popular among rock stars.
Types of Nail Manicure and art:
. Fancier manicures include painting pictures or designs on the nails or applying small decals or imitation jewels.
Nail art is done with the help of needles, stencils and nail brushes.
A nail artist covers nails with pictures and ornaments also he decorates the nails with polishes and paints available widely in markets.
Another art of nail designing is done by the application of beads, flowers, feathers, clips and stones these are glued on the nail surface
Another popular method of nail art is piercing. Nailists pierce nails and apply chains, buttons, clips and precious and semi precious metals. But this requires skilled hands to make the entire process beautiful and painless.
Rhinestones and other decorative ornaments are widely used in nail design. In conjunction with these uses are also many other decorative accessories: glass beads (photo 1), protruding elements of opaque and transparent plastic or glass.
