My Role Model: My Father

We are  now living at a time, when we are pushing ourselves to hither to unattainable, high levels of excellence in field after field, in discipline after discipline. In the race of heading at top we ignore our family, parents, friends and society. Suddenly, a hurdle arrives in our life to stop our speed and make us remind of words told by a person to proceed further.
In the same scenario, the words, teaching, opinion given by my father always motivates me to lead life by crossing the hurdles in a very smooth and confident way.Till now, I take his opinion when ever get stuck in miserable situation. He always guide me towards right direction and understand my feelings without uttering words.

A role model is someone who is inspiring and that you look up to; and my role model is my father.

I am writing about #MyRoleModel as a part of the activity by Gillette India in association with BlogAdda.com

"Modi Wave" (New Trend in Politics)

“Ab ki Baar Modi Sarkar”
Everyone is talking about “Modi Wave”.
Currently in India, is really a wave is blowing, in the name of Modi?
Is it instigated by himself or his followers?
Hmm ….. It’s very confusing…….

The slogan “Ab ki bar Modi sarkar”, given by the party, is reflecting a change in the politics scenario. Instead of party, personality is given importance. Election campaign has become “One Man Show”, and the BJP as a party has been reduced to secondary position. The tone and tenor of Modi’s campaign from its inception has had overtones of the individualism that marks the US President polls, in which votes are cast for a single person and not in the name of the party, as in India.
He brought a change in the picture of election campaign this year, by well organized plans and through studying psychology of youths, need of common people and presenting before us the “Gujarat Model”. He recognized the role of urban youth who seemed to support him in large numbers in Gujarat, Modi crafted a social media strategy to reach different segments of the young population. Numerous information tools were created to publicize his speeches, visits, and ideas through Twitter, Face book, YouTube and etc. It includes focus on development, southern strategy, a strong social media presence and harnessing of the state machinery to build his persona. Many commentators noted that the poll publicity urged voters to vote not so much for the Lotus symbol but for the Gujarat CM. Indeed, the very fact that several senior party members  has accepted that there is a brand “Namo”, for the party whose existence for the party cannot be denied, as the wave is must to spread BJP all over the country, this election.

I want to know:
  • Is really the wave blown by us "common people" or has been animated?
  • Does our country election campaign and theme is changing for development of the society?
  • Now people will  vote on individual basis not on the performance of the party?
Waiting for the answers to know about the changing trend in election campaign and politics.

Bahu Se Bahumat Tak

The popular tag line inspires women to show their veto power, “Bahu se bahumat Tak”, publicized now a days in television.
The Loksabha election 2014 is heading towards its end.
I heard that among 815 million people – only 100 million people are voting this year. It’s too bad, we should come out from our house and cast vote to the eligible party and candidate. This is correct time to show the politicians that only by speeches and fake promises they can’t fool people anymore.
One vast change is view in this election. As in Delhi, when I went to cast the vote, saw a huge participation of young generation and especially women too in voting. They were waiting in queue from early morning. I asked a woman,” that to which party you are going to vote?” She replied, “To the right party”. I was glad to hear that she didn't disclose about the party.
I want to thanks media for showing importance of a woman individuality and vote, through which she can fight against the mistreatment made in and outside the home. Also now, she knows importance of own decision by not giving vote under pressure of husband.

I salute to the women for becoming bahu to bahumat.

Stand Alone To Stand Out

“Standing out in a crowd seems like a recipe for disaster, if you are a single and ready to mingle. But it could make more attractive to the opposite sex”, stated in a recent study.
Just read the lines in one the leading newspaper.
My earlier believe was contrary to the study. I felt odd one out could not mingle with fashion trend followed by each, and they seem like a downer with the opposite sex.  The article made me to believe on the study. Among the young generation, we find some  carrying  unique fashion trends, like, wearing  ring piece at the end of the eye brows or  at the tongue or in the navel. Else they color hairs with different shades and style and cuts. Not only these, they also dress up with unique different styles to show them odd or conversely, simplicity cool look with little makeup also makes them eye-catching.
Selection of mate among animals is similar to human being. They too select mates with enviable features, which are often “advertised” through adornments such as colorful tail feather in peacocks or decorating nests with beautiful flowers and leaves or by making unique voice.
Latest research is build on the same idea, giving a clearer scrutiny of the value is being of the odd one out.
Thus the logic used behind the study mentioned in the article makes me to believe.

Close Encounters Of The Smelly Kind

Get reborn every morning with a hot water bath. Make a fresh start each day with the most advanced water heaters. Completes dress up and makeup by spraying perfume/ deodorant all over the body and covering neck with cool scented talcum powder, gets ready to give a start to cool – fragrant morning.  Energizing self with a tasty breakfast and a cup of tea or coffee. Rushes to office with a smile and greets colleagues with a warm handshake and quickly enter Boss cabins to show, “I’m in time” , by wishing “A very good morning Sir!”.
The above lines pictured daily routine of most of the us. But there’s  many one who escapes bath and even not comb hairs , as to reach office in time.
I was also close encounter of the smelly kind in my previous company. There’s was a HR , who used to daily get late to catch the office bus , as she use to ring  me up to wait for herself and daily bus used to depart late by 5 – 10 mins. Her entrance to the bus was with fragrant smell of the powder and removing her curly opened hair from face with a smile. By reaching office she rushes to rest room, to comb and tie up the hair. By mid of the day she was covered with sweat as she used to run for work here and there. I used to thank god for  making my seat far away from her, as people nearby her use to sneer of her fishy smell.
A day , I was encounter with the same situation. My new Team Leader was appointed and we both were allotted the same cabin to share. At the first day , I sniffed a unique pinching smell, after a time felt suffocation, so opened the door of the cabin for fresh air. She just looked at me  smiled at started to continue her work. I just ignored, without uttering a word.  After a two days ,as I opened the door , office boy came and told me to close the door as the cabin air conditioner will loose the cooling affect. After nodding my head in agreement , said him to spray the room freshener twice a day. My T.L just looked at me  and asked , "Is there any problem?"
In a moment of confusion was thinking what to reply to her. Very  polite, I said “From few days I am feeling suffocation due to a peculiar smell have you felt?, that’s why ” . Again with a smile she said no and continued her work. I was very tensed what to do now, as she is not able to understand my situation. Then a day I got an idea, at the mid of the day she left cabin for some work, I thought to close the cabin , switch off the air conditioner and leave the cabin.  As she entered the cabin , she felt the smell , and from a distance I saw her smelling her clothes. After a while , I entered the cabin and started to work very normally. Next day she looked fresh and had a pleasant fragrant.
I was happy as my idea worked and I never faced that daily encounter again . Also learnt importance of bath, as I had never escaped bathing and also realize what happens when a daily bath is escaped and if you don’t like to bath with cold water just use warm water but have a daily bath.

Words: An opportunity to scream without opening your mouth.

Words, that you write, suggests sound of your feeling or  thoughts.
Just as you communicate with your voice tone and word choice , the same concept  applies to your’s writing. Words selection goes on as per your audience and the tone of writing is at a high level of sensitivity to leave a impact upon the readers.
In the same way , if  we don’t use correct words, pronunciation or voice of speech  to convey our message while communicating, then the listener or reader will not be able to clearly understand.

We writers  always have an opportunity to scream by not shouting but by writing down in the papers to express our thoughts and to get public response .  Some time when we are at work , our boss shout at us without our fault what we do?
We never shout back , we stay calm and very gently tries to state out the circumstance before him.

Not only writer but many people also uses power of words  when their screams are not heard by anyone.
A very true incident I would share below related to this:
In a manufacturing industry an engineer who served the company for 15 years , was not getting promotion any more instead of his hard work, honesty and devotion. He conveyed his message of promotion to  team leader, manager even to HR , but no one was paying so much attention towards him. Everyone said they would look into the matter.  The new employees or his juniors were promoted to higher post but not him.

A day, in mood of frustration and depression  he wrote a letter to the managers and HR:
In 15 yrs of devotion to my work and  efforts to get promoted , in return  got no credits or motivation nor any promotion , hope now you will listen to my words,as I 'm going to commit suicide in the company campus and you will have to take care of my family members.

After writing the letter he committed suicide.

In result, Owner of the company took action against his manager and HR and also made his two sons to work at that company.

Therefore not coming at the stage of depression , we should  speak out with words , when everyone becomes dumb and ignores you. Express your feelings through words as writing has much power then screams.
Speak through social media, networking website , or through your books , to awaken the society and people so that they could listen what you want to convey message to them.

Conflict, Co-ordination and Conquering ideas

"Idea" just pop-up from our mind whenever we are confused, in trouble, to show creativeness and  to kill boredom and even sometime for some destructive acts.
I’m not going to bore you all by writing upon , “ What is Idea?”.
Through this post ,just want to share few funny ideas upon which I and my friends  coordinated and conquered upon it.
In graduate, we were three  best friends ,  we were named  as, ‘gang of 3 girls’.  Study to questioning in classroom or from enjoyment to crazy , we never stood back
A day , my two  friends thought to do something different  and watch expression of everyone in classroom, but I was nervous, I felt everyone would laugh upon us. They made me agree by saying that , if you will just get frighten or nervous , then you can never be creative or adventurous to do any action. To make your ideas true and watch out the expression and confidence level at highest point.
We decide to wear pink color suit and go to college.  Very decently we entered the classroom, at everyone face there’s was a smile and question “ kya baat hai, aaj kuch special hai kya?.
Specially, on that day those who never talked to us , they gave us compliment too.
This incident made me realize, never keep own idea in mind , related to creative or funny or anything, always bring them in action and feel the happiness from inside, while, its result is positive or negative, as through idea you try to show your qualities, strength and self confidence.
I will be pleased and welcome , to share your any interesting funny idea with me.

In the opinion of great persons,

A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on. Ideas have endurance without death.
- John F. Kennedy
An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.
- Oscar Wilde
An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

This colourful artist’s village hides a dark story.

Odisha, famous for its art, culture, dance, tourist places, dishes ; but among this counting one important  traditional hand painting is  still hidden from us.
Raghurajpur village in Odisha ,is the only place where every villager is an artists and is continuing their meticulously hand painting art from a generation, but the art is grossly under appreciation.

Here, the art and painting  are made on clothes, paper, wood, house and sculpture of god and toys are made and painted by hand. The art takes from 5 days to 1 month to get complete. In the village , we can find all age group of people, i.e., 5 years old baby to 60 year old man busy  in painting, only just   to keep the art alive and to earn money.

While painting you will find
a pleasant and calm smile on their face, but they have  a dark hidden story behind it. As  they deal with third party to sell their painting, they earn very less money , i.e., their earning ranges between  4000 to 8000 rupees, on the other hand, in market the dealer sells at 30,000 to  50,000 amount. In return of their hard work they get a handful of money and suffers form bad health problem like of eyes and hand.
It’s so a shame of our government who doesn't pay attention towards them.
So to bring a change to their live and to popularize their painting,  I join hand with the "Indiblogger" team ,  to take their art to a global audience and cut out the middlemen who exploit them, and also appeals to everyone kindly promote their painting , to get appreciation through out the world for their skills.

'Idea', 'Suggestion and 'Opinion',are three things, we easily get free of cost from anywhere and everyone.

Behenji turn Modern

Happy Women's Day

On the Women day celebration , I want to salute Indian women, by looking at the sudden growth of powerful confidence and individual acquirement of position in society or in other words, "Behenji to Mod".

When we give a glance to back 10-15 years, we imagine a woman dressed with well pinned up duppatta or  wearing  a grace full saree with well plated and pinned up. Having a shy-smile on face as somebody introduced her or holding the end of her oiled hair, pony tail, while talking to someone.
Parent made their  daughter grew up with  teaching, ‘how a  girl should laugh, talk , sit and be back to home before getting darkness. After getting graduate, parent paid attention to enhance her skills by  joining the vocational courses; likely cooking, painting, interior decoration, stitching and etc.

Girls were too nurtured with the qualities of behenjis, as gathering in smaller group in free time and have chat, gossip and crack jokes .
The behenji was one of the most important stability in India. Her talent was the ability to suffer in silence. No matter what the indignity – molestation, incest, rape – the behenji had to cover abuse and get on with life. The Indian thali was garnished with tightly constricted , lacking individualism, aspiration, rights – symbolized an older India itself.
Our country’s feudalistic socialism gifted behenji, a modest world broad thinking and energizing in growth of society. Reforms shook that veil , making the behenji look outside. From the 1990s, two economic determinants pushed India to modernity or becoming “mod”.
Firstly, the boom of industrial sector, bpo, hospitality to management , aviation to advertisement and banking to management. Everywhere male domination was shifted to female corporation. Thus, the behenji began to break bounds. School statistics show young women smashing the earlier year’s academic records. Marketing graphs show growing female consumers spending more.every new cultural space – malls, pubs, gyms – shows young women loving freedom.
Remarkable, families supported girls.
Secondly, joint families broke and nuclear ones emerged, many realised daughters would care for them even if sons turned away.
Both notions molded a powerful emotional change, parents now wanting more opportunities for their girls. This was reflected in the bollywood movies, ‘ Mother India’ to ‘Chandini,’ ‘Fashion’ to ‘Gulab Gang’. Alongside Kiran Bedi, Arundhuti Roy, Kalpana Chawala,  Sania Mirza and others  encouraged girls to think of themselves as individuals, meriting dignity and care.
Today look at Indian street, a woman is smartly dressed– usually, better than her looks, confidence stands out.
